Team Leader – Medication Assistant Treatment (Yulee, FL)
$63,000 - $67,000 salary
JOB SUMMARY:
Assessing the effectiveness of services, collaboration with other agencies and service providers, and monitoring documentation of all services for compliance. Serve as liaison between clinical staff and Clinical Director. Also provides screenings, assessments, diagnosing, group and individual counseling, treatment planning, and educational services as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversees an established and successful outpatient counseling team of Behavioral Health Counselors.
  • Provides supervision and clinical guidance to team members.
  • Participates in Community Outreach
  • Maintains relationships with community partners through monthly meetings.
  • Analyzes data received from community partners to determine trends and needs.
  • Monitors and ensures clinical documentation compliance to electronic health records.
  • Maintains communication with all staff regarding clinical transactions for billing through the agency’s electronic health records.
  • Provides training for new employees / interns on clinical procedures and arranges schedules that permit time to shadow clinicians for two week initial employment period.
  • Assists Clinical Director in the interviewing and selection of potential clinical staff.
  • Monitors clinical caseloads in the electronic health records system to ensure compliance with agency standards.
  • Monitors monthly quality record reviews to ensure compliance with agency standards.
  • Participates as a team member and contributes to the enhancement of the department and the agency.
  • Works with all clients and employees in a cooperative manner treating all with dignity and respect.
  • Serves as liaison between clinical staff and Clinical Director.
  • Complete monthly MRT tracker and submits to Lutheran Services of Florida (LSF) by due date.
  • Attend monthly to quarterly meetings with DCF, LSF and Nassau County School District (NCSD) meetings.
  • Maintain MOUs with community partners.
  • Host an AmeriCorps position.
  • Assist with new hire training
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology or a related human services field.
  • Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor: LMHC, LCSW, LMFT
