Duties and Responsibilities of Machine Operator

3rd Shifts available

12 hour shifts available with 2-2-3 schedule

• Take initiative and be proactive
• Read and understand shop orders, production schedules and follow written or verbal instructions
• Meet and exceed company’s expectations (safety, quality, production)
• Identify and separate nonconforming parts (defective).
• Report issues to maintenance as needed and make supervisor aware.
• Must be able identify all the different size and names off all bases
• Must be able to use torque guns.
• Must follow all safety rules and regulations and maintain housekeeping throughout shift
• Must be punctual

PPE Requirements

• Safety glasses and hearing protection is required and provided.
• Safety shoes are required and are to be purchased by the employee.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. repetitively.
• Must be able to stand the entire shift.
• Position requires bending, stooping, stretching and reaching.

Education and/or Experience Level

• High school diploma/GED preferred. Effective communication skills. Self-starter and well organized. Should be able to work well in a multicultural environment. Experience in a manufacturing facility. Basic knowledge of computer use. Flexible to perform multiple job functions and duties.
