The Customer Care Representative I position is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handles the needs of sales representatives and customers
  • Receive purchase orders from customers via e-mail
  • Review orders to insure all required information is received and correct
  • Communicate with customer for any missing or incorrect information
  • Furnish copy of acknowledgement to the customer via e-mail
  • Informs customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
  • Follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
  • Computes price and discounts
  • Specifies if special labeling is required for shipment and in some instances, supplies to the shipping department.
  • Answers questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or directs them to the person able to assist them.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous Customer Service Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail, dependable, and organized
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
