Summary/Objective:
The Production Associate I is responsible for the unpacking, assembling, and repackaging of product when orders come in and are shipped out.
Essential Functions:

1. Fully understand the job jackets and fill out with all prepping, packing & scrap info
2. Ensure correct product and quantity for specific job
3. Prepare items as required prior to printing
4. Check for product defects
5. Ensure product is packaged properly & to shipping specifications
6. Understand shipping methods and pick up times
7. Communicate between packaging and shipping
8. Continually move completed orders to designated areas
9. Assist others within the department

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position works in a warehouse/production setting. This role routinely uses standard warehouse and production equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, may lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma or GED

1. Experience working in a production setting
