Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and administration of security clearances for facility personnel.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations regarding clearance processes.
• Run access control systems and procedures to restrict unauthorized access.
• Conduct periodic reviews of access permissions and update access lists as needed.
• Assist in organizing and conducting security briefings and training sessions for facility employees.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and adherence to security protocols.
• Collaborate with the FSO in developing and implementing incident response plans.
• Support the FSO in conducting regular security audits and inspections.
• Ensure corrective actions are taken to address any identified security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the facility security plan.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to integrate security measures into daily operations.
• Quickly respond to security incidents on a 24-hour, on-call basis when assigned.
• Provide guidance on security-related matters to employees at all levels.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Previous experience in a industrial security-related role, preferably in a clearance facility.
• Working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance..
• Understanding of security databases such as JPAS, eQIP, eFCL and ISFD.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience

• Four year university degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated work experience in a similar position dealing with FOCI mitigation.
• Active Secret Security clearance preferred.
• CSSO, CPSO, ISP, or COMSEC certifications preferred.
