Starhired is Hiring a Test Technician Near Windsor, CT
We are looking for a Quality Test Technician who has experience with equipment testing from start to finish. You will be responsible for checking electromechanical systems, wiring, resistance, inspecting sheet metal enclosures, operate the machines to make sure they’re within specifications, diagnose any production issues and work with supervisors to address production problems, wire up panels, understand blueprints and schematics. This is a full-time direct hire position Monday through Friday, full benefits.
What you will do as a Quality Test Technician:
- Maintain all quality records.
- Ensure product matches production specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspections.
- Inspect sheet metal parts before and after.
- Identify and report any issues with quality.
- Test all writing and electronics.
- Perform performance tests on finished machines.
- Test using specialized testing equipment, micrometers, bore gages.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What you will need as a Quality Test Technician:
- Experience as a production testing technician.
- Experience with testing machines pre and postproduction.
- 2 years of Quality Inspection
- Sheet metal quality control experience a plus
- Reading blueprints and engineering notes
