Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team. As a member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to our patients while delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventative care for small animals.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions and injuries in pets.
  • Conduct surgical procedures including spaying, neutering, dental surgeries, and soft tissue surgeries.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and X-rays to formulate treatment plans.
  • Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, behavior, and medical care for their animals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure understanding of treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education and professional development.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the practice through active participation in team meetings, marketing initiatives, and community outreach events.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • State veterinary license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in performing common veterinary procedures and surgeries.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards animals and their owners.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of veterinary care and ethical conduct.
