Pay Rate: $20-22
Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday: 7:30am-6pm &
Friday:3pm-9pm, Saturday: 8am-2pm/4pm, Sunday: 7:45am-1:45pmJob Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: Star Pro Security Patrol, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of a faith based institution in Santa Ana, CA and Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional situational awareness, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing a safe environment for all members and visitors of the temple.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol on foot client's premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity or unauthorized persons.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify potential threats or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, including but not limited to medical emergencies, disturbances, or criminal activities.
- Maintain a visible presence at entrances and exits to greet visitors and ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns and coordinate emergency response efforts.
- Conduct regular inspections of security equipment, such as firearms, communication devices, and emergency exits, to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide escort services for temple staff, guests, and special events as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed and trained armed security officer with a valid concealed carry permit. (Guard Card and exposed firearms permit)
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response tactics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and make quick, effective decisions in emergency situations.
- Understanding of cultural sensitivities and respect for religious practices within the community.
- Physical fitness and agility to perform patrol duties and respond to emergencies effectively.
- Duty belt, Level 3A Body armor, level 3 holster, peper speay, baton, and taser.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Proficiency in handling and maintaining firearms in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Training in crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
Salary and Benefits:
- $20-22 an hour

- Weekly pay every Wednesday
