ArmorTech Security is seeking 1 to 2 qualified personnel for our Armed Protection and Life Safety Officer position in Santa Ana, California. This position requires officers to display a high degree of attention to detail, tact, common sense, and client rapport.

Available shifts are as followed:

Monday-Tuesday 10pm-6am

Saturday-Sunday2pm-10pm

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST have experience in Law Enforcement, Military, AND/ OR a minimum of 5 years of Armed Security Service.
• MUST be able to maintain the confidentiality of restricted and/or sensitive information.
• MUST have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service capacity.
• MUST be in possession of a current and valid BSIS Guard Certification and capable of maintaining certification.
• MUST be able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds to carry a minimum of 150 feet.
• MUST be in possession of a current and valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit and capable of maintaining certification.
• MUST pass a Background Investigation.
• MUST have a clear criminal history; no felonies or Class A misdemeanors.
• MUST be eligible to work in the United States.
• MUST possess a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
• MUST be 21 years of age or older.
• MUST have a reliable and personally owned vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• MUST provide own duty gear and personal protective equipment.
• MUST Complete and submit the provided Indeed questionnaire for consideration

THE ARMED PROTECTION AND LIFE SAFETY OFFICER DUTIES include:

• Screen and/ or execute property searches for personnel entering/ exiting the facility as needed.
• Monitoring facility activities to ensure appropriate behavior before, during, and after operating hours.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of the facility; deterring transients and unauthorized personnel from entering facility grounds.
• Monitor CCTV and radio communication channels.
• Conduct periodic safety checks of facility grounds; ensuring entry and exit ways are secured and free from obstruction.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Security Manager and client.

LANGUAGE SKILLS - Must be able to:

• Write clearly and concisely using appropriate grammar, punctuation, and spelling; write organized, complete, accurate, and factual reports.
• Understand and apply written and verbal orders, rules, and regulations.
• Bilingual preferred

TECH AND COMPUTER SKILLS - Must be able to:

• Demonstrate use of laptops, two-way radios, fire/ access control, smartphones, and surveillance/ body camera devices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Must be able to:

• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Adapt to temperature changes from entering/ exiting the facility.
• Sit, Stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.

LIFE SAFETY (EMERGENCY)- Must be able to:

• Obtain and Maintain CPR/ AED certification.
• Have a visual acuity that can be corrected to 20/20 with corrective lenses.
