Propane Service Technician - Meenan Oil - Middletown NY
Up to $32.80 an hour
*$2,500 Sign on Bonus for Experienced Propane Service Technicians*
Preferred experience: propane gas, utility natural gas, HVAC, gas plumbing, appliance repair, or industrial maintenance business.
Responsibilities include:

• Installing, repairing and maintaining propane appliances; and providing service to our residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Perform repairs and adjustments on propane equipment.
Examine regulators, gas lines and appliance connections for possible defects or gas leaks.
Drive a flat bed boom truck for delivering and installing propane (LP-Gas) tanks

• Install and pressure test gas service lines to make sure system passes all state & local installation/permit requirements.

Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
Requirements Include:
Within first 30 days:

• (Class B) Commercial Driver's License (CDL) containing a Hazmat, Tank and Air Brake Endorsements and DOT Medical Card.

Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, Drug Test and Homeland Security Background Check.
Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from District/Branch Manager.
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
