Your Opportunity
As a Stantec Aquatics Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead and work as part of a team on community-based and high-profile projects for a range of public and private sector clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team of landscape architects, architects, and civil, mechanical, electrical, structural and ice engineers in creating one-of-a-kind recreational destination amenities and more traditional sport complexes and high-performance athletic facilities. Be part of a team dedicated to aquatic, ice-skating and sport facilities that are integrated within park, urban, suburban, and mixed-use settings.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated, energetic, and design-focused individual who can leverage our team’s core strengths and grow and expand our presence in North America and beyond in athletic and recreational facility design, including aquatics, ice, and field sports. Combining Stantec’s interdisciplinary team; the potential of our Stantec global staff and contacts; and our relationships with other design professional firms with your exemplary aquatic design skills, the possibilities are limitless.
Potential aquatics-related projects include but are not limited to: indoor and outdoor facilities; new and renovated facilities; recreational and competitive swimming pools; interactive and decorative fountains; splash pads; and other one-of-a-kind and once-in-a-generation type facilities.

Work Environment
Typical office environment working with a desktop or laptop. Travel, including field work, may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Regional, national and/or North American based travel for business development is likely. Presence in the office at least three days per week is preferred. Stantec’s Minneapolis office is the preferred office location, though the actual office location for the selected candidate is flexible.
