Our dynamic and successful Structures Group is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer. This position would be based in our Minneapolis office. As a Structural Engineer, you would be responsible for the design and/or management of structural engineering projects for public infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural design calculations and perform analyses on projects of varying complexity using hand calculations, analysis software, and other accepted methods.
• Prepare plans and specifications for construction projects that comply with applicable codes and regulations.
• Perform construction administration with periodic field inspections.
• Assisting with generating required engineering reports, performing quantity estimates, detailing, and drafting.
• Bridge inspections and load ratings with some travel possible.
• Ensure SRF's quality procedures are maintained for all work.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum B.S. in civil engineering with a structural emphasis; master's degree in structural engineering is a plus
• Minimum of two years of experience in a related field.
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
