BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of a program administrator, perform the necessary tasks to oversee and implement health services including the development of emergency and/or medical health care plans; ensure health compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and California Community Care Licensing regulations and requirements; assess, refer and provide for the health needs of enrolled Head Start children and expectant mothers; develop and disseminate health education information to teachers, parents, and children.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse Program and one year registered nursing experience desirable.
Valid California Registered Nurse License with expiration date
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $38.30 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
