Join our dynamic team supporting our global streaming and Media entertainment client as a Sr IT Support Technician working at the forefront of streaming innovation! We're looking for a tech-savvy professional with over 5 years of experience in a high-energy tech environment or startup. If you have a B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience, particularly with macOS, Windows laptops, and Cloud SaaS Apps like Slack, Jira, GitHub, and Adobe CC, we want you!
Your expertise in Mac Imaging, MDM software (JAMF Pro), and familiarity with Jira/Freshservice will be invaluable. Plus, if you have knowledge of VPNs, home/office networks, scripting, automation, media streaming, and Google Workspace, you'll fit right in!
We're not just looking for anyone. The ideal candidate is someone who leans more towards macOS proficiency and has the specific experience we're seeking. This isn't just a Systems Admin or Engineer role; it's a hands-on support position with opportunities to work on technical projects. This hybrid role is based in the heart of West Hollywood, California, with up to 75% on-site work for on-call rotations.
You'll be instrumental in maintaining and supporting our IT systems, providing exceptional customer service, and offering advanced technical support for software, hardware, networks, servers, and telecommunications. You'll also play a key role in managing our Technical/Customer Service and Support groups. Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level support for software, hardware, and various infrastructure related issues.
  • Participate in the entire user life cycle from accounts provisioning, hardware deployment and day one orientation.
  • Participate in an on-site support rotation for all employees at our office.
  • Provide video conference setup support and basic troubleshooting.
  • Administration and troubleshooting of company Mac/Windows, BYOD, peripherals. SaaS applications/integrations, network, and IDP
  • Assist in various technical projects and maintenance that may be required (this includes desktop, directory services, telecom, and networking).
  • Contribute to New Technology discussions.
  • Cross functional collaboration

Requirements

  • 5 years working in a fast paced technology company environment or start up
  • B.A./B.S. in a computer science related field (or) 6 years experience in system administration and support.
  • Strong desire to help others, positive attitude, excellent problem solving, technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional experience supporting macOS and Windows laptops
  • Exceptional experience supporting Google Workspace and a wide variety of popular Cloud SaaS Apps (e.g. Slack, Jira, Github, Adobe CC)
  • Strong knowledge of Help Desk ticketing software (i.e. Jira Service Desk, Freshservice).
  • Strong knowledge of Mac imaging and MDM software (i.e. JAMF Pro).
  • Working knowledge of Networking Concepts (VPN, office and home networks) are a plus.
  • Scripting and automation skills are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of media streaming services and devices are a plus.
  • Excellent communicator, detail oriented, and customer service focused.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $30 - $45/per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
