The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Radiation Oncology is responsible for the coordination and delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice, Nursing Code of Ethics and State and Federal guidelines. The RN adheres to all Stamford Hospital’s policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. The Registered Nurse ensures provision of safe and therapeutic care using the values inherent in our hospital culture. The registered nurse demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for the patient with complex needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of patient care and is directly responsible to a designated nurse manager.
Schedule: Full Time - 37.5 hrs/week - 5 shifts / 8am-4pm - Monday to Friday
