What You Will Do:
CARES (Community Abatement Resource Economic Solutions) is designed as a comprehensive opioid abatement solution to help communities who have been affected by the opioid epidemic develop and implement plans, budgets, and evaluations to save lives.
As a Technical Sales Development Associate, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth for the CARES product. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive, and has excellent communication skills to effectively engage with potential customers and qualify leads.
Lead Generation:
Research and identify potential prospects and target accounts through various channels, including RFP publications, outbound prospecting, social selling, and lead databases.
Use cold calling, email outreach, and networking strategies to initiate contact with decision-makers and influencers within target companies.
Qualification and Pipeline Management:
Qualify leads and opportunities based on predefined criteria, including budget, authority, need, and timeline.
Nurture relationships with prospects and engage in consultative conversations to understand their business challenges, goals, and needs.
Sales Outreach and Engagement:
Conduct outbound sales activities to schedule meetings, demos, and discovery calls for Account Executives or Sales Managers.
Follow up on inbound leads, marketing campaigns, and event attendees to drive engagement and accelerate the sales cycle.
Sales Enablement and Collaboration:
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop targeted messaging, sales collateral, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
Provide feedback and insights to Sales and Marketing teams on lead quality, prospect feedback, and market trends to optimize sales and marketing strategies.
Data Management and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions, prospecting activities, and pipeline progression in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue targets.
Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities.
All other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
2-4 years’ experience in outbound software sales, business development, tele-sales, or related field experience
Bachelor's degree and background in selling to Healthcare preferred
Ability to uncover information on customer/prospect calls around business processes, critical success factors, and competition to deliver a valuable business solution
Ability to work in a fast paced environment. You think out-of-the-box and wow people with your interesting angles and quality work
Experience researching, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of accounts that are new or partnerships
Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment
