QA Testing Lead (TFS, SoapUI, LoadUI testing, Agile) (Onsite, Harrisburg, PA)

We are currently recruiting an Application Tester for our client, a Commonwealth PA entity. The focus of this role is to coordinate cross-development groups and activities utilizing the testing methodologies and experience to establish standards based on industry best practices.

This contract position is long-term with funding approved until 6/30/2024. Further extensions are likely, and funding is approved every 12 months, 40 hours per week role. This position is onsite supporting our client's offices located in Harrisburg PA. The preferred candidates MUST reside locally in the Harrisburg, PA area.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead all testing and quality assurance efforts, ensuring adherence to schedule and inventory management of testing environments.

• Coordinate various testing phases including functional, integration, regression, load/performance, and user acceptance testing within the designated test environment.

• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and diagrams to support testing activities.

• Monitor project progress related to testing, collaborating with the Applications team as necessary.

• Work with project management to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and testable.

• Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and processes to support application development.

• Execute tests according to test plans, including automated load and performance tests when applicable, and develop complex automated test scripts.

• Assist in coordinating user acceptance tests and maintain active test environments.

• Provide detailed reports on test results, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and communicating effectively with project managers and functional leads.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10 years of experience using application development testing and creating test scripts and use case scenarios for user acceptance

• 7 years of experience with:

  • Microsoft Test Manager Suite or similar tool

  • Developing Training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) materials

  • working to facilitate collaboration across the full range of executive, business, and technical resources.

  • testing efforts including test plan, test scenarios for SIT and UAT, and organizing users to facilitate effective tests.

  • Agile methodology

  • Microsoft Viso and Project software and Team Foundation server (Dev Ops version)

  • SOAP UI, Load UI/Load Testing Skills, SQL Server, LDAP and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services

• Experience working on state government projects/assignments are desired

• Bachelor's Degree

Compensation: $45/h-$48/h (depending on experience)
