StaffRight Talent is Hiring a Heavy Civil Project Manager Near Katy, TX

We are seeking a Project Manager for a key client at Boxley Group Talent. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful execution of critical client projects. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating resources, managing timelines, and overseeing project deliverables. We are looking for an experienced professional who can navigate complex tasks while maintaining a keen eye on quality, budget, and deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure flawless project execution.

    • Manage project timelines, scope, and budget, preventing scope creep and unexpected surprises.

  • Resource Allocation:

    • Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements.

    • Develop detailed project plans and track progress.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Review drawings and provide constructive feedback to staff and field teams.

    • Conduct frequent onsite observations during construction to ensure compliance with plans.

  • Change Management:

    • Prepare and schedule change orders as needed.

    • Participate in weekly resource scheduling meetings.

  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Request and maintain all necessary regulatory permits and compliance documents.

  • Knowledge Transfer:

    • Assist in training subordinates, ensuring knowledge dissemination throughout the organization.

  • Budget and Time Management:

    • Manage projects and personnel within budget, scope, and time constraints.

    • Evaluate daily production sheets, identify issues, and escalate concerns to minimize losses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management (minimum four years).

  • At least five years of work experience in civil construction projects.

  • Proficiency in project management systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Thorough understanding of construction legal matters and safety protocols.

  • Over five years of project management and delivery experience.

  • Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple concurrent projects.
