Stafford Healthcare is seeking an energetic, experienced Certified Dietary Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our dietary department. Certified Dietary Manager Requirements:

• Able to professionally manage all aspects of running a large scale commercial kitchen in a healthcare facility, including menu planning, purchasing, quality control, staffing, and preparation of meals
• Able to serve as a collaborative member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) along with nurses, dietitians, social workers, etc. to ensure every resident has access to healthy, delicious, and palatable meals and nourishing snacks to support their medical needs
• Able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional early morning, evening, and/or weekend duties depending on the needs of the building
• Able to successfully fill in for employees working shifts as cook, dietary aide, and/or dishwasher as needed
• Current and unencumbered certification from the Certified Board of Dietary Managers (CBDM)
• Current Washington State Food Handlers Permit
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to pass DSHS criminal background check
• Be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Possess basic computer skills and ability to be trained on job-specific software
• Possess effective English verbal and communication skills and ability to exercise professional judgment
• Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to form positive relationships with persons of all ages and cultural backgrounds 
• Our Company follow WA Proclamation 21.14.1 which requires all employees working in the Health Care Setting to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless they are exempt for medical and religious reasons, no later than October 18, 2021.

Certified Dietary Manager Preferred Qualifications:

• Have at least one (1) year experience managing a large scale commercial kitchen
• Have at least one (1) year experience working in an inpatient medical facility
