Position: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Pay: $20.00 DOE
Shift: 7am to 3pm Monday - Friday

DIRECT HIRE
Duties: Shipping and purchasing experience required, forklift experience required
The Shipping and Logistics Coordinator will assist with all shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations.
Work with the Warehouse and Planning & Logistics team to help ensure efficiencies and on time deliveries.
Coordinate shipping and schedule carriers by following established procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Assist the department to strive for excellence in fulfillment with on time deliveries and meeting customer’s expectations. Assist in other duties and projects as assigned. Follow all Safety Rules for Department and Entire Facility.Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents.
Inspect receivables for defects, damages, or missing items.Properly scan and inventory incoming goods.
Unload, stack, move, and place products in appropriately designated areas.
Move and transfer products between various sections of warehouse as needed.
Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts etc. to transfer and deliver goods.
Perform detailed manual inventory counts.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required combination on experience and education
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
1-3 years’ experience working in a business setting, preferably in Shipping or Logistics.
SAP experience is beneficial.
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training
