STAFFINGSOLUTIONS.US is Hiring a HR Admin Assistant Near Fullerton, CA

We have an immediate need for an HR Administrative Assistant to work with an industrial company located in the city of Fullerton, CA. This is a first shift position offering a full-time schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a pay rate of $21-$23 DOE.
Position Summary:
The primary function is to process, in a timely and efficient manner, all payroll-related documents, requests, reports, and employee records through the payroll system, while aiding in general administrative tasks for the company.
Job Tasks:
  • Responsible for reviewing timecards and employee time & attendance documents for accuracy and ensuring proper coding in the payroll system.
  • Follow up for missing back-up documentation for payroll processing.
  • Preparation of company and temp agency weekly payroll for review and submission by HR Specialist.
  • Processing and following through on employee time off requests.
  • Processing of Points reprimands and Time Clock Alerts for HR Specialist’s presentation to employees.
  • Compile and distribute employee reports to management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Entering weekly employee schedules into the payroll system.
  • Prepare checks and logs for weekly paycheck distribution and follow up weekly to ensure completion of handout and payroll logs.
  • Hiring/Terminating employees in the payroll system.
  • Preparation of orientation packets and employee information cards.
  • General tasks included but were not limited to answering the front door and checking in guests, front lobby organization, filing on a daily basis, assisting in posting signage and notices, helping facilitate shipment pick-ups, ordering office supplies, printer/office maintenance, special projects, etc.
  • Back-up to Download/Daily Reports, AP/AR, as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management.
  • Associate degree in a related field (desired but not required).
  • Prior related office experience preferred.
Environmental Conditions:
  • Inside the office building, the normal temperature is between 70-80 degrees.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
