Our Client's Job Description:

The Studio Manager plays a critical role in leading and motivating their team to deliver an exceptional guest and member experience that drives membership growth, retention, and revenue. You will be a passionate advocate for the brand, embodying our core values of integrity, respect, fairness, excellence, and shifting the cultural perspective of fitness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales & Membership Growth:

-Achieve studio membership and revenue goals: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.

-Provide exceptional sales support: Coach and mentor sales associates on effective sales techniques and product knowledge.

-Track and analyze membership data: Monitor key membership KPI’s and use insights to inform strategic decision-making.

-Partner with marketing team: Actively participate in marketing initiatives and promotions to drive awareness and generate leads.

Leadership & Team Management:

-Build and cultivate a high-performing, engaged team: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and empowered to succeed.

-Develop and coach team members: Provide effective training and coaching to ensure all team members possess the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

-Lead by example: Demonstrate exceptional work ethic, communication, and customer service skills, inspiring your team to do the same.

-Performance management: Implement effective performance management practices, including setting goals, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.

Operational Excellence:

-Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations: Oversee all aspects of the studio operations, including scheduling, staff assignments, inventory management, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

-Maintain a clean, inviting, and safe studio environment: Implement and enforce hygiene and safety protocols to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests and members

-Manage studio cleanliness: Allocate cleaning staff in a manner that keeps attrition under 7%.

-Identify and implement operational improvements: Keep a strong pulse on your studio.

-Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in the team member and member experience. Implement effective solutions as needed.

Organization Relationships:

-Reports to Franchisee/ Regional Manager and will interact with all levels of club and corporate staff.

Job-Based Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

1. Leadership: Can you inspire a sense of shared purpose in the studio? This includes leading your team through change, getting buy-in, and coaching through ambiguity.

2. Business Acumen: Can you see beyond the surface, understanding the intricate dance of sales and operations? Give an example from the past week that demonstrates your ability to turn insights numbers into actions.

3. Strategic Thinking: Problems and challenges in the studio are not roadblocks but puzzles waiting to be solved. Can you dissect a challenge, analyze its components, and forge solutions that deliver financial results?

4. Persuasion: Relationship-based selling is not coercion but building trust and value. Can you build trust with studio guests (Intro’s) that create a compelling vision for why they should join and become a member at the studio?

5. Delegation and Empowerment: Are you able to delegate in a manner that yields strong revenue and membership targets?

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

-High School Diploma or GED required.

-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator Certifications (AED) received through in person training required.

-Degree in a related field.

-Specialized credentials preferred or equivalent work experience or education in specialized function.

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

-1 years of experience in a sales environment

-Experience with relationship-based selling, building value and overcoming objections.

Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

-Physical effort required for daily duties include squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, jumping, and prolonged standing and walking.

Compensation:

$65-$70k base salary benefits
