If you're a skilled driver who's comfortable behind the wheel of a 25' truck and can navigate local routes with ease, we have the perfect opportunity for you!CPS Recruitment is seeking a Driver / Shipping and Receiving Associate to join a leading manufacturing company in the Syracuse, NY area. With a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, this company has established itself as a trusted provider of exceptional products.Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM$18/hr
As a Driver - Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will play a vital role in their operations. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent behind the wheel, delivering products to local destinations and occasionally making trips to Albany or Rochester. The remaining 50% of your workday will be dedicated to supporting the shipping and receiving department, ensuring smooth logistics and accurate inventory management.Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 25' truck to make local deliveries and occasional trips to Albany or Rochester.
Assist with loading and unloading merchandise, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory.
Collaborate with our shipping and receiving team to ensure efficient and timely order processing.
Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while on the road.
Report any maintenance or operational issues with the truck promptly.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license.
Comfortable driving a 25' truck.
Prior experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
Flexibility to occasionally travel to Albany or Rochester.
