Shipping & Receiving Manager-Full-time-2nd Shift-UCI Syracuse Auto Parts Warehouse/Hahn Automotive

Position Summary

Our ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage staff and all aspects of delivering auto parts to customers. This applicant will be able to communicate with office staff, customers, and employees. This position works closely with the Operation’s Manager to successfully complete day-to-day tasks.

Position Requirements

· Manage staff and their schedules

· Handle basic truck repairs (Wipers/Light bulbs etc.)

· Schedule truck maintenance/repairs & maintain documentation on all truck repairs

· Accurately fulfill orders

· Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse

· Delivering parts when necessary

· Nightly Closing-Confirm all orders are completed and shipped to customers, shut off lights, lock doors.

· Ability to answer urgent phone calls 24/7

· Active Listening-Giving full attention to what other people are saying, asking questions as appropriate.

· Communication-Talking to others to convey information effectively.

· Coordination-Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions.

· Time Management-Managing one’s own time and the time of others.

· Ability to comprehend instructions.

· Teamwork-Coordinating efforts and supporting coworkers to produce the best outcome.

Qualifications:

-Driver’s license

-Ability to operate a box truck

-Forklift certification (Preferred)

-High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
