Pay Rate: $75 / hour
Shift details:
- Saturday - Thursday, 8 hour shifts
- Maintain confidential medical records of student participants and chaperones
- Respond to medical emergencies
- Check-in camper and staff medication upon arrival
- Set up medical room and conduct inventory of supplies
- Establish and follow appropriate medical routines*
- Post hours for daily medications and health call
- Complete accident/incident reports when needed
- On camp trips, the nurse would be responsible for administering first aid if needed
- Follow procedures as outlined in the Camp Safety Plan
- Be familiar and strive to follow any applicable federal, state, local regulations, association health and safety policy/procedure/requirement and standards
- Be aware of, and adhere to, established NYGEAR UP policies and procedures.
- Medical Routines include record keeping in the daily medical log, disposal of medical waste, managing and safeguarding medications, and ensuring medications are delivered as per NYS Guidance
- Licensed in New York State (RN)
- First Aid Certified
- CPR Certified
- AED Certified
