As a Wayside System Integrator, you are responsible for day-to-day planning, coordination, scheduling, material control, data collection, and reporting for the installation and testing activities performed for the duration of the project. Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the work of all Wayside signaling system installation and testing personnel has been properly scheduled and ensure schedule was coordinated with and approved by the MBTA
  • Ensure the signalling system material and equipment is inspected, controlled, properly stored, protected from the elements, vandalism and theft and that damaged equipment is identified
  • Successful execution of day-to-day planning, coordination, scheduling, material control, data collection, reporting for the installation and testing effort
  • Support successful execution of all Testing and Commissioning activities for wayside Signalling system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for MBTA Installation Crew for troubleshooting technical/ logistical issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 Years professional experience in railways or mechanical or plant engineering, ideally in the field of wayside or signalling system installation
  • Quick comprehension and strong interest in finding technical solutions
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on quality control
  • Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends depending on the wayside installation schedule
  • Confident appearance in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
