Stack Metallurgical Services, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Salt Lake, UT
We are looking for a Quality Manager to join the team at Aerospace Aluminum Processing LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Implement and maintain a documented quality system
- Ensure that the quality system is properly maintained and followed on the shop floor
- Thoroughly familiar with AS9100 and Nadcap quality systems
- Review customer quotes, purchase orders, and contracts to determine quality requirements
- Monitor the systems and tools in place to ensure that customer product meets specification requirements
- Communicate with operations to identify priorities, commitments, and resolve any quality issues
- Develop, monitor, and use performance measures to promote continuous improvement
- Able to implement and monitor corrective and preventative actions
- Direct supervisory experience
MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervise 7-10 employees. Carry out manager responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Starting Wage: $75k-$85k DOE
