What We're Looking for:

We are looking for people who are passionate about delivering self-driving (L4) products that make the way we move safer, faster, and more efficient. We seek mission-driven, highly skilled people with deep experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing, tech development environments. We are looking for strong software engineers at all levels to develop visualization tools for next generation self-driving systems. We are focused on building products that are used both by the autonomy teams to visualize their data and by vehicle operators to interact with the live self-driving systems. Candidates should have a strong sense for building User Interfaces that are both highly functional and highly pleasing to interact with. Candidates should have a mission-driven mindset to deliver a product, which entails significant cross-functional interaction, and customer-centric obsession to deliver what those teams need.

What Success Looks Like:

• Design and implement tools to visualize logged data generated by the autonomy system.
• Design and implement tools to assist the vehicle operations team with operating the self-driving system.
• Work with the autonomy, operations, and product teams to understand and capture visualization requirements.
• Experience developing UIs for a variety of use cases that include high utility and pleasing interactions.
• GUI Toolkits, Qt is a plus.
• 3D Graphics, OpenGL, or higher-level wrappers. 
• Strong Software Design and Engineering skills with an eye toward creating pleasing UI interfaces for a variety of consumers.
• C experience is highly desired.
• Experience using Emscripten to generate web applications from C is desirable but not required.
• Experience working effectively in a cross functional team comprising of product managers, UX designers.
