Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Client Services Coordinator has primary responsibility for facilitating the financial registration of new clients, including insurance and co-pay verification, initial service authorizations, and helping clients with financial assistance applications. The Benefits Coordinator must be able to respond to client concerns in a respectful and professional manner at all times, be able to assist and work collaboratively with other members of the support staff team, as well as on-site clinical staff and other interconnected hospital departments. Other requirements include navigating an electronic health record, data entry, and the ability to track and monitor a variety of computer-based metrics such as outstanding balances and co-pays.
