Description

MISSION STATEMENT: To be a beacon of light by transforming lives in the Vincentian spirit of charity, justice and mercy through interpersonal connectivity.

SUMMARY: The Data Quality System Analyst provides support, reporting and analysis to the Chief of Performance Quality Improvement and is responsible for coordinating quality management efforts necessary to achieve national best practices and accreditation standards throughout the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (These essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. · Understand Performance Quality Improvement outcomes and requirements of all SVDP CARES programs.

· Pull and compile data from various tools to identify deficiencies, training opportunities and accreditation requirements.

· Analyze data to further determine training needs and improvement on efficiencies.

· Conduct training in identified areas to increase performance quality improvement.

· Coordinate preparation, administration, data collection and analysis of various survey results.

· Support PQI committee processes, documenting minutes from meetings, agenda preparation and meeting invitations.

· Communicate with Managers on completion and submission of expected reports and goals.

· Assist with the identification of deficiencies and work with PQI team and Operations staff to improve outcomes.

· Site visits as necessary to provide training and support when needed to increase performance quality outcomes.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Complies with all applicable training requirements.

· Complies with all company safety, personnel and operational policies and procedures.

· Complies with work schedule to ensure effective operations of Agency programs.

· Contributes positively as a member of a productive and cooperative team.

· Performs other duties as necessary to fulfill the Mission of Society of St. Vincent de Paul CARES.

· Able to speak, write and understand English.

· Possess applicable computer skills, proficient in MS Excel and database management.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

· Demonstrated use of intermediate computer operations and intermediate software packages

· Must be sensitive to and respect cultural diversity amongst clients, staff and volunteers and able to work with diverse racial, ethnic and economic groups.

· Flexible work schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

· Successfully pass Law Enforcement background screening.

· Participate in Agency Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) program and Accreditation/Reaccreditation process.

· Understands the barriers faced by Veterans and their families when they are returning to civilian life.

· Knowledge of the characteristics and cultural diversity associated with Veterans and their family members.

· Ability to meet deadlines and handle crisis.

· Exceptional record keeping skills; ability to obtain and maintain accurate, detailed and confidential notes and client's files specific to program requirements.

· Excellent written and verbal skills, which include word processing, data entry and email.

· Ability to problem solve and make decisions independently as needed.

· Possess a valid Florida driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: (Pending on position and if prior to hire is approved by the HR Director, a comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum education qualifications)

· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

· Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university with 2 years related experience; or four or more years related experience with data entry, data compliance and/or project management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Track record of successful project management training, compliance, and/or data quality projects.

· Knowledge of Health and human services background and HMIS preferred.

GENERAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to perform the essential functions of the job successfully. Reasonable accommodation can be made, if appropriate, to enable people with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of job. Working in an office/site requires prolonged sitting at the computer workstation; standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 40lbs. and some driving. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones, and other office equipment. It is also required to regularly sit, speak, and listen, the employee is also required to walk, use hands and fingers to type, operate equipment, and maintain records and notes. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

MENTAL DEMANDS: Must handle new and diverse work problems daily. Personal maturity is an important attribute. Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure. Must have the ability to listen objectively to people, perceive the real problem and assist in bringing issues to a successful conclusion. Must relate and interact with, volunteers, clients, contractors, visitors and employees at all levels within the Agency.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Environment will occasionally become noisy due to equipment operations and interactions among clients and staff. There may be the possibility of being exposed to communicable disease, possible exposure to verbal abuse or similar behavior from residents/clients. On an as needed basis, employees may be called upon to work outside of the established work schedule or work odd hours. All information associated with the Agency is confidential.
