St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish seeks caring, nurturing individuals to fill the role of Part-time Opener at our Child Development Center. We are urgently hiring for one part-time position to cover rooms during nap times so that teachers can take a lunch break. The hours for this position are 7am-9pm, Monday through Friday (10 hours per week). Please do not apply if you are not able to work this schedule.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Supervise children in your care at ALL times-ensuring health and safety.

Maintain a safe environment that is orderly, clean, and sanitary.

Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined by the Child Development Center, the Diocese of Austin, Health and Human Services (Licensing), and the Health Department to assure compliance for state certification and accreditation.
Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Able to work 7am-9am, Monday through Friday.

Complete a minimum of 24 hours of required training each year (provided by center).

Have at least 6 months' experience in a licensed childcare facility or school setting OR be willing to obtain 8 hours of pre-service training.

Pass FBI fingerprinting and background checks.

Obtain CPR/First Aid Training.

Complete Ethics & Integrity in Ministry (EIM) training.
