We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as Housekeeper / Public Area Attendant. He or she will ensure the highest level of cleanliness and safety in all public and back of the house areas of the club and will promote excellent public relations and 100% guest satisfaction. The attendant will work as a valuable member of a dedicated professional team, reporting to work as scheduled and in proper uniform following the club’s personal appearance standards. 
The ideal candidate has some housekeeping/janitorial experience that includes knowledge of basic cleaning supplies and equipment. Candidates must have the physical ability to perform all aspects of this job (lifting, standing, bending, etc.), must be reliable and trustworthy, and must pay attention to detail and take pride in their work. 
Schedule: Tues – Sat 3:00pm -11:00 pm Sun 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm 

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that club standards are met
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers
• Empties wastebaskets, empties and cleans ashtrays, and transports other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and/or polishes floors using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
• Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment
• Keeps storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
• Polishes silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
• Immediately reports to maintenance any damages, lights out, or loss of items
• Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner
• Turns Lost and Found items in to front desk attendant
• Gives recognition to members
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods and tools/products
• Safety and customer service orientedAble to follow spoken and written instructions
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
