St. Peter Catholic School is Hiring a 2nd Grade Teacher Near Greenville, NC

  • Acceptance of the mission of the school as articulated at the Diocesan and school level
  • Plan, prepare, teach, and interact with students in a professional way that challenges students to reach their individual potential
  • Implementation of the educational mission, philosophy, goals and objectives of the school both at the Diocesan and parish levels
  • Observance of all Diocesan and parish regulations pertaining to his/her employment
  • Performance of professional responsibilities not limited to planning lessons, preparing instructional material, taking attendance, signing in and out daily, serving on staff committees, conferring with parents, maintaining positive relationships
  • Completion of requirements for obtaining/maintaining a current license with the Diocese and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
  • Preparation of quarterly written reports to inform parents of student progress, and participation in regularly scheduled conferences with students and parents when assistance is needed in the process of academic and personal growth
  • Must be a Catholic in good standing with the church

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
