Teacher at St. Paul’s Nursery School in Burlingame

St. Paul’s Co-Op Nursery School (SPNS) is hiring a new teacher! Our nonsectarian, play-based school has been serving young children and their families for over 70 years. We are a staff of four teachers and a director, and we work together very closely. We are looking for the right person to join our dynamic team! We are looking for someone with a tender heart who has a passion for working with 2-5 year olds. We also want our new teacher to have the confidence to share new curriculum ideas and try new things. If getting dirty in a mud pit or playing in the rain sounds unappealing, this may not be the position for you. A minimum of 12 ECE units, (9 must be core ECE units), and two years of experience from an early childhood education program. A child development Teacher permit or higher is preferable.

Duties for this position include:

• Leading a Class and all responsibilities associated with this
• Parent Communications and Relationships
• Classroom and Curriculum preparation
• Attending monthly staff meetings

The hours for this position are flexible. This is a position that earns paid holidays based on tenure, and vacation/sick time from the start date. Pay is based on ECE certification and work experience.
