$18.75 / hour

Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 
Dive Camp Counselor supports coaching staff and oversees all aspects of camp life from Sunday at 12pm until Thursday at 4pm.

Transferable Skills: 
Working with youth, videoing dive skills and providing feedback, leading strength and conditioning exercises.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
1. Waking campers each morning, checking rooms at bed-time.
2. Coordinating evening camper activities.
3. Organizing and/or assisting with daily dry-land activities.
4. Provide supervision of campers at assigned activities, both instructional and recreational,
for the duration of the camp session(s).
5. Be responsive and reachable throughout the duration of camp, and on-campus from
10pm - 8am daily.
6. Apply basic youth development principles in working with students through
communication, relationship development, respect, and involvement.
7. Be aware of and implement all safety guidelines. Follow and uphold all security rules and
procedures. Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers.
8. Interact with people from a diversity of backgrounds and experience.

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) 
Applicants should have a background working with children and knowledge of competitive diving and/or strength and conditioning.
