Summer Camp Opportunities

St. Michael’s Country Day School is an independent day school in Newport, RI serving students in preschool through grade eight. The school has opened a search for employees for their Summer Camp Program.

7 weeks, June 24, 2024 to August 9, 2024. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm

Open positions:

• Lead Sports Camp Counselors
• Lead Counselors
• Assistant Counselors
• Lifeguards

Responsibilities

• Plan fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate activities and projects for campers based on weekly themes
• Supervise and enthusiastically interact with campers in one of the following age groups:
• 3 years, 4/5 years, 6-9 years
• Oversee and mentor assistant counselor
• Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines including routine safety and disinfecting procedures
