Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and visitors. Duties: - Perform general custodial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated areas - Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors using appropriate equipment - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed - Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment - Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is necessary - Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department - Adhere to all company policies and procedures Skills: - Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
