JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Registered Nurse Provides nursing care through the nursing process, assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, evaluates and documents the effects of care. Demonstrates competency in the assessment, range of treatment, knowledge of growth and development and communication appropriate to the age of the patient treated. Licensed Practical Nurse Administers medications within scope, performs phlebotomy as directed by Physician or Advanced Practitioner. Accepts, verifies and carries out orders. Assists the health care provider with special procedures, treatment of injuries and physical examinations. Demonstrates ability to confidentially use the Electronic Medical Record systems to accurately enter and complete data. Assumes and reports to the RN changes in resident/patient condition. Assists with admission/ transfer/discharge of residents/patients.
