The Driver is responsible to assist Village of Hope residents to get to appointments, employment, school, and other meetings and obligations in the community. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely operates motor vehicle along prescribed route. Assist all passengers entering and exiting the shuttle vehicle at all times. Assists passengers to answer their questions about other information as required. Maintains proper operating condition of the shuttle vehicle. Maintains the interior and exterior vehicle to ensure cleanliness. Monitors the parking lots and informs appropriate department of potential hazards. PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for up to twelve (12) hours per day, five (5) hours at a time; entering and exiting the shuttle vehicle up to 20 times per hour; assisting passengers entering and exiting the vehicle; vision as required to operate a motor vehicle; and hearing as required to operate a motor vehicle. EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Possess a good driving record and maintain a valid Pennsylvania or New Jersey Driver's License.
