Responsibilities

Under the overall direction of the PM&R Manager, the Speech Therapist examines and evaluates patients and administers speech pathology interventions to patients with speech, voice, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments. The Speech Therapist works in collaboration with the referring provider. The Speech Therapist demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for and manage primarily adult and geriatric age patients in acute care, outpatient, or acute inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:Master's Degree Speech Pathology Over 1 year to 3 years required Videofluoroscopy preferred Licenses and Certifications:Speech Therapist – Licensed, Upon hire, requiredBasic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required
