St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a full time RN to join our amazing CVOR team. Are you looking to help make a difference in the community that you live and work? ** $15,000 Sign On Bonus offered for this position based on OR/CVOR experience** (offered for new hires) 

Schedule:  M-F, 0630-1500; with required on call additional responsibilities.

Unit Summary

The CardioVascular Operating Room (CVOR) at St. Luke’s is our heart and vascular specialty OR, serving cardiothoracic, thoracic, vascular and endovascular service lines. The unit has one surgical hybrid room in addition to three operating rooms. Patient population is primarily adults. RNs on our team also give conscious sedation.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Manages care of patients.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
• Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: ASN required- Highly preferred (BSN) Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1 years of OR or CVOR RN experience highly preferred.
• Certification: CNOR highly preferred 
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
