General Description / Position Summary :
The Community Resource Coordinator focuses on increasing the quality of approved Public Benefit Applications completed by the St.
Louis Area Foodbank, its volunteers, interns, and community partners. To achieve this, the Coordinator will complete SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), Medicaid, and other benefit applications, implement improvements to the follow-up process, support, train and onboard interns and volunteers.
In addition, the Coordinator will use warm handoffs through the maintenance of the Community Information Exchange (UniteUs) while growing awareness of SNAP, Medicaid, and our services.
