St. Leander School is seeking an assistant for our Preschool Program. This individual must have a minimum of 6 ECE units to meet our licensing requirements. At least two years of experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is also required. Please do not apply if you have not completed a minimum of 6 ECE units.

We are looking for an individual who is patient and kind and enjoys working with young children ages 3-5 years old. This position is an assistant position in our classroom. The main responsibilities would be assisting the lead teacher with student supervision, classroom activities & lessons and yard duty supervision. You must be available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-3:30 pm. The perfect candidate would love working with young children, be prompt, well organized, reliable, have good communication skills and work well with others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
