St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for an experienced and hands-on Supervisor to support the Jill's Restaurant management team by overseeing the day-to-day operations and providing supervision and leadership to all Jill’s Restaurant associates.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Remain knowledgeable of all Jill’s positions and their respective duties in order to facilitate cohesive and thorough training, answer all guest inquiries satisfactorily, and to be able to seamlessly fill in/assist staff as needed.
  • Effectively train staff so that they are able and empowered to consistently provide service that meets the Hotel’s luxury service standards.
  • Supervise restaurant staff and hold associates accountable to all policies and procedures of the Hotel.
  • Handle guest complaints with courtesy and expediency to the standards of St Julien Hotel & Spa, elevating larger issues to the attention of Jill’s upper management.
  • Treat associates with respect and dignity at all times including, but not limited to, in regards to scheduling, diversity, appreciation, and recognition.
  • Assist in coaching and counseling of associates when appropriate and within boundaries of authority.
  • Monitor staff’s compliance with safe/sanitary food and beverage handling and responsible alcohol service.
  • Provide confident and professional conflict resolution with associates and/or guests as needed.
  • Help facilitate daily pre-shift meetings and quarterly staff meetings; collaborate with management on the content and execution of all meetings.
  • Other duties as requested by manager.

  • Represents themselves and the Hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a service-focused demeanor, and a courteous, sincere attitude at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years’ supervisory and/or management experience required. Must be well-versed in restaurant operations and capable of executing all essential duties listed.
  • Previous fine dining and/or luxury hospitality experience highly preferred.
  • Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis.
  • Open and flexible availability is required. Interested candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays.
