Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Field Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Field Nurse, you will provide quality patient care in various settings including nursing homes, patient homes and other healthcare facilities. Your role will involve performing and administering treatments, training and educating patients, pain management and documenting medical information. Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and nursing standards
- Conduct assessment of patients' medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff
- Assist with case management by coordinating patient care plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals
- Perform sonography procedures as required
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately in medical records
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures or treatments
- Assist with ventilating patients when necessary

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in [state/region]
- Proven experience working in nursing homes, or similar healthcare settings and patients’ homes
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and terminology
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide quality patient care
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in medical documentation systems and electronic health records

Note: All positions at our organization are paid positions. Internship positions are also compensated accordingly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
