Position Summary
The Pre-Service Care Coordinator Reports to Preservices Manager and is responsible for the collaborative process that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the options and services required to meet an individual’s health needs, using available communication and resources to ensure quality, cost-effective outcomes. Collaborates with Central Scheduling, Surgical Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Pre-Certification, and clinical teams to ensure services related to denied authorizations are evaluated for medical necessity and current standards of care for treatment. Completes other care coordination duties as assigned. Create/coordinate treatment plans with provider clinical team as needed.
