Job Overview
Assists in providing for the total needs of the patients who are entrusted to his care. Their ministry is in concert with physicians, nurses, social workers and other members of the staff. The priest Chaplain provides sacramental, liturgical and pastoral ministry to patients, their families and the hospital staff.
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles and concepts normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Theology, Pastoral Care, Pastoral Counseling or closely related field and previous chaplaincy experiences helpful. Must be a Roman Catholic priest in good standing.
