SUMMARY
An IS Associate Care Specialist provides personal support for associates/staff of a district with support via phone, in person and remote support with assisting staff in completing tickets, providing consulting services for purchases, software applications and general technology needs in the classroom or department. The job required knowledge in application support, hardware/network support and Internet services support.

ACADEMIC SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general technology information. Ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communications. Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Document/demonstrate current knowledge of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, database management, word processing, spreadsheets and open systems technology required. Demonstrate knowledge of PC basics, including technical terminology and acronyms and working knowledge of PC systems and peripheral connectivity. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and demonstrate effective time management skills to meet deadlines. Strong teamwork, interpersonal communication and group problem solving skills. Ability to travel to and from work sites. Ability to work a flexible workday and workweek. Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions in accordance with policies and procedures.

(ie: printers, CPUs, monitors, servers, etc.) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Able to operate a personal motor vehicle.
