As the Nurse Manager of Minor Procedures, you will directly supervise and communicate with all departmental staff and physicians to ensure the department functions efficiently. The manager manages the staff members in all perioperative departments.

Consults with staff, physicians, and nurse executives on nursing issues and the interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and assists with the formulation of a budget for the department.

Education and Work Experience

1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintenance.
3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience is necessary.
4. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred.
5. CNOR; preferred.
6. Current ACLS (AHA) Certification upon hire and maintaining current
7. At least two (2) years of experience in Surgical Nursing.
8. Current PALS (AHA) certification for those facilities caring for the pediatric population.
