St. John's Community Care Overview

Providing direct services in southern Madison and parts of St. Clair Counties, IL since 1985. Core programs are non-medical Home Services, Adult Day Program, medical equipment loans, support groups for family caregivers of aging and disabled adults, and "Conversations on Caregiving" presentations to the community. St. John's Community Care also also manages Collinsville Faith in Action, a program of the Collinsville Area Ministerial Association. CFIA supports aging and disabled individuals with Volunteer Caregivers (transportation, friendly visits, family respite, seasonal yardwork, minor home... repair); Answers on Aging (enrollments for Medicare Part D and other federal and state benefits); and ElderConnection (social outings appropriate for individuals with physical limitations and few opportunities to socialize). All of CFIA's services are provided without charge. The mission of St. Johns Home & Community Care is to make a positive difference in the lives of people challenged by aging or disabilities. We accomplish this by providing dependable and compassionate support through direct care, advocacy, education, and outreach to individuals living in the Metro-East community.
